Currency and G.S.T
All prices quoted are in Australian dollars and are G.S.T. inclusive. The current G.S.T. rate is 10%. International purchases are G.S.T. exempt.

Delivery Information
All parcels are shipped using Australia Post. Within Australia, please allow 2-7 working days for delivery. Deliveries to destinations outside of Australia are shipped via Air Mail.
The Express Post delivery option will deliver your parcel the "next business day" (within Australia only) using the Australia Post Express Post delivery network. This is subject to stock availability. Bookshop customers selecting the Express Post delivery option must submit their order by 2.00pm (Eastern Standard Time) to guarantee next day delivery.
Postage Rates are calculated using Australia Post charges as at April 2012.
Please ensure the delivery address and receiver's name for your order is accurate and complete, including any business name if shipping to a work address.
Our databases are regularly updated based on current availability information supplied by publishers and book distributors. Books can and do sometimes become temporarily unavailable whilst reprinting, or they may go out of print without prior notice from the publisher.
The Victorian Government Bookshop will endeavour to supply all orders placed via this site. All books and other products are listed for sale in good faith, but it is possible a supplier may notify us that a title is currently unavailable or no longer available.
Upon receipt of this information from a supplier our online customer service team will contact you to let you know of the cancellation or delay of your order.

Refund Policy
All parcels are shipped using Australia Post. Within Australia, please allow 2-7 working days for delivery. Deliveries to destinations outside of Australia are shipped via Air Mail.
1.1. When will we refund?
We will refund the full price of the item(s) or exchange the item in the following instances:
-The item(s) has/have a fault the customer could not have known about at the time of purchase
-The item(s) does/do not match a sample the customer was shown
-The item(s) is/are defective
In all instances you will be required to provide us with your Victorian Government Bookshop receipt.
If an updated and cheaper version of the item(s) is available before the item(s) are being shipped to the customer, e.g. legislation publications, we will supply the updated cheaper version and refund any difference in price.
We do not provide a refund if the item(s) has/have been damaged after the receipt of purchase.
1.2. Your obligations as a customer
If you ask for a refund, you should:
-report the fault and return the goods as soon as possible
-provide details of the fault
-provide proof of purchase
-look after the goods until they are returned.
We reserve the right to assess the condition and age of returned goods prior to offering an exchange or refund. This may result in an exchange or refund being refused.
